As a DJ and social dancer, Israel believes that music is not only what inspires people to dance, but also the glue that holds the tango ecosystem together. He constantly works to improve the quality of his repertoire, and has devoted countless hours toward refining the technical and artistic elements of his DJ-craft. His improvisational style combines empathy with an intimate understanding of tango music in order to cultivate an atmosphere of freedom and enjoyment for all.

Over the past decade and a half, whether as a professional DJ, milonga host, tango club advisor, or instructor in the art of social dancing, Israel has always focused on supporting the growth and development of tango communities. He enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures, and regularly DJs at events on both the East and West Coast of the United States.
